Sharper, more consistent illustrations

We upgraded how TaleIt plans and renders your book visuals. Characters and scenes stay more consistent from page to page, and images look better on the first try — so you spend less time (and fewer credits) getting things right.

Image refreshes now cost 15 credits

Regenerating a book page image has dropped from 30 credits to just 15. Experiment more freely without worrying as much about the cost of trying again.

Easier checkout for printed books

Ordering a physical copy is smoother than ever — clearer shipping options with upfront pricing, discount codes for print orders, and a faster payment flow from start to finish.

Share your books in the public gallery

Finished a book you're proud of? Turn on Public Book in Book Information, then opt in to List in public gallery to showcase your story on taleit.ai/gallery. You can remove it anytime.

Character Uploads, Emoji Support & Print-Ready Books

Bring your own character photos, use emojis in your stories, and trust that what you see in the editor is exactly what goes to print.

Upload your own character images

You can now upload a photo when creating or updating a character — great for basing a character on a real child, pet, or drawing. Uploads work alongside AI generation, so you stay in control of the look.

Emoji support in your book text

Add emojis to titles and story text and they'll show up properly in the editor, preview, and printed books. A little extra personality goes a long way. 🎉📚✨

What you see is what gets printed

Printed books now match the editor much more closely — layout, fonts, and text all line up. No more surprises when your physical copy arrives.

Smarter address help at checkout

When you order a printed book, TaleIt now suggests corrections if your shipping address looks off. Accept the suggestion with one click and reduce the chance of delivery issues.

Simpler Book Creation & Editable Cover Pages

Creating a book is now faster and more straightforward, and you can finally edit the cover page just like any other page in your book.

Streamlined book creation

The book creation flow has been simplified into a single focused form — no more multi-step wizard. Fill in your story details, pick your characters, and hit create. Less clicking, same great results.

Pick characters right from the create form

You can now browse and select characters directly from the book creation screen. Selected characters appear as a visual grid so you always know who's in the story before you start.

Editable cover pages

The cover page is now fully editable just like any other page. Update the title text, regenerate the image, or tweak the layout — all from the same book editor you already know.

Higher-quality, more consistent images

Upgraded image models plus improved processing make your book visuals sharper and more reliable from page to page. You can now add more images per book and make bigger edits without breaking the look and feel.

Huge upgrade to image editing

Quickly select and edit specific pages, books, characters, and uploads with more control and consistency. Tweaking a single detail or refining an entire book now feels smoother and more intuitive.

One character image, perfect across the book

No more confusion or wasted credits on character sheets that don't match. With the upgraded character model, you only need one image of your character to place them throughout your books — keeping their look consistent.

Better value on characters and refreshes

Character creation has dropped from 150 credits to just 50 credits. Refreshes are now 30 credits per image regeneration, and most creators are using fewer refreshes overall thanks to better results on the first try.
